Today we purchased 2.5 pounds of freshly caught marlin for $60 pesos (about $4.60 in dollars). To put this into perspective, we cut it into seven 1 inch thick steaks about 7 inches long. Tonight we're BBQ in a roasted sesame seed marinade. Of course Rachel will make me eat broccoli with it.The picture will give you an idea of the size of these things, amazing. It's currently Marlin, Dorado (mahi mahi) and Sailfish season and they're jumping from Mulege to Cabo San Lucas.
