We don't know who or why...but yesterday we had an anonymous from a secret friend dinner delivered to us and not just any dinner. It was a special anniversary dinner for us, with 2 bacon-wrapped filet mignons with fresh mushrooms, two potatoes with sour cream and chives, salad with dressing, and croutons, a delicious cake for dessert, a bottle of red wine and even a candle. It is a good thing we are used to living on very little. We've been in COVID training since 2008 and didn't know it. Try living on $100 or less a month - No problem, we know this one. All it takes is time. We have been saving Mexican 10 peso coins for a long time and last October we did a fundraiser for the fire victims. During the event we broke our only mixer. At the time we didn't have enough saved to buy the new mixer we needed. Fortunately, we were able to get a replacement part on eBay. On Monday the day came - we won a bid on eBay and this time we had just enough. BLOW OUT ON 99 - Well if it ain't one thing it's another...so today we woke alone in the desert after a truly silent night; at least after the last of the partiers left and at an American time of 10PM...We both laughed as the last vehicles drove away. Had we been at home in Baja, it may have gone on all night.

We want you to stay connected with us.
We've found over the years that although Facebook is a "Social Network", it is very impersonal and superficial. Facebook is deliberately trying to show people the content that is most relevant to them, as opposed to surfacing all the content available.
